On the international scene, she's well-known as the vile and unbreakable Faora in the Superman 2013 movie Man of Steel. When she was a teenager, her career in the theatre began by playing Jeanne d'Arc. The stage debut began when she played the role of Jeanne d'Arc an elementary school play. Traue appeared on stage in Germany Europe, and New York City for the duration of four years on the tour. Subsequently Traue played in numerous TV and film productions like Kleinruppin Forever Berlin am Meer and Phantomschmerz. Traue was selected to play the main female character in Pandorum (2008), an action-packed sci-fi/thriller written by Christian Alvart with Travis Milloy.
